Hannah Heinchon (She/They)

Hannah joined the Youth Development Program as an Assistant Director/Billing Specialist in October 2023.

Hannah earned her Masters of Social Work degree from Simmons University and Bachelor's of Art in Psychology from Johnson State College. She has experience providing case management and therapeutic support to individuals experiencing houselessness or mental health crises. She joined Elevate Youth Services in February 2020 and served unhoused youth in central Vermont until transitioning to join the YDP. 

Hannah is passionate about social justice and helping ensure all individuals have their basic needs met, whether that is secure housing, food security, access to clean water, access to medical care, or the space to rest and engage in recreation/play. She is also passionate about suicide prevention and has been a volunteer with the National Crisis Text Line since 2018. Outside of work, Hannah is a proud mom of two who enjoys spending time in nature, especially kayaking, and painting.
